Third Announcement

Scientific Program
The conference consists of morning plenary sessions, posters  
and 5 afternoon parallel sections which include:
1. The theory of inverse problems;
2. Regularization methods for inverse and ill-posed problems;
3. Tomography problems;
4. Applications of inverse and ill-posed problems;
5. Differential equations.
At the recommendation of the Program Committee 16 mathematicians 
will give 45minuts Plenary Lectures. The names of the speakes,

The rooms for Sessions are equipped with an overhead projector. 
The room for session 4 "Applications of inverse and ill-posed problems" is equipped with multimedia projector.
The size of the individual poster panels is as follows: width 70 cm, height 110 cm.

Travel information

How to get to Novosibirsk. The distance between Novosibirsk and Moscow is 3.191 kilometres (3.336 klilometres of railway). It takes 48 hours from Novosibirsk to Moscow by "Sibiryak" express train (N 26, departure every two days in 2:25 PM.; info call in Moscow 921-59-14). You can flight from Moscow to Novosibirsk in 4 hours from airport Sheremetyevo  airport Domodedovo
All international participants will have accommodation 
reserved at the hotel “Zolotaya Dolina" (10, Il’icha street, Akademgorodok, Novosibirsk)
All international participants will be met in the airport and railway station. 
However, just in case. How you can get to the hotel without assistance:
From international terminal of airport Tolmachevo:
You arrive to the international terminal of airport Tolmachevo 
according to the schedule of international flights. 
To reach your destination, your need bus No. 108 
(the hours of operation are 04:50 AM - 11:00 PM); 
the bus stop is in front of the airport building. 
This bus will take you to the hotel "Zolotaya Dolina" in 
Akademgorodok (the last stop).
From Railway station "Novosibirsk Glavnyi":
You arrive to the railway station Novosibirsk Glavnyi, 
leave the railway station building, and find the stop 
of either bus No. 622 
or microbus No. 15. These buses will take you quite 
near to the hotel "Zolotaya Dolina" in Akademgorodok 
(the last stop).

Hotel accomodation

The Conference participants will be accommodated in two hotels: 
hotel "Zolotaya Dolina" and hotel of Novosibirsk State University. 
The cost of accommodation per day is expected to be 
$21 per person, single occupancy (Hotel "Zolotaya Dolina"); 
$18 per person, double occupancy (Hotel "Zolotaya Dolina"); 
and 
$50 per person, first class occupancy (Hotel "Zolotaya Dolina"). 

A limited number of less expensive hostel rooms will be available for some participants. 
Please, send us information what hotel accomodation you prefer by June 30.

Registration will take place on August, 4 from 8:00 AM to 
9:00 PM in the hall of hotel "Zolotaya Dolina" and 
on August, 5 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM 
at the House of Scientists (23, Morskoi street). 
Registration fee $250 (in cash) is paid in Novosibirsk when 
registering for the Conference. 

About the city

Novosibirsk was founded in 1893. Population 1.441.000 people. 
Today Novosibirsk is the biggest city in Asian part of Russia. 
Time. Novosibirsk time (NT) differs from Moscow Standard time (MST). NT=MST +3 hours. 
Novosibirsk time differs from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). NT=GMT+6 hours.
Currency and banking. There are a lot of local banks and branches of Moscow banks in Novosibirsk. Sibacadembank is situated in Akademgorodok and works from Monday to Friday from 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM and from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM. You can obtain US dollars in cash by your credit and debit cards: Visa Card, Euro Card/Master Card (brokerage 3-4%). You can also obtain US dollars, Deutschmarks or directly Russian roubles in cash by traveller's cheques of American Express or VISA according to the current exchange rate. Brokerage is from 1% to 5% depending of the cheque's face value. You can exchange foreign currency in cash for Russian roubles in numerous exchange offices in airports, hotels, post offices and supermarkets.
Shops. The shops are generally open from 9.00 AM or 10.00 AM to 7.00 PM for a whole week. There are some 24-hour food shops.
Electricity. 220 volts, 50 Hz, 2 pin round plugs.
