The workshop is a part of the international joint
research projects **INTAS-RFBR-97-139**
COMPUTABILITY AND MODELS and **INTAS-00-499** COMPUTABILITY IN HIERARCHIES AND TOPOLOGICAL SPACES.
It is organized under the aegis of the Kazakh National University and the
Institute of Mathematics of National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan.

The three earlier INTAS workshops on computability and models(Novosibirsk, May 4-6, 2000; Heidelberg, January 18-19, 2001; Novosibirsk, September 24-26, 2001) have established a tradition of inviting a wide spectrum of specialists in computability theory, and its applications to logic, mathematics, and computer science.

As usual, the workshop will be devoted mainly to computability theory and its applications to logic and computer science, but will also include several talks on model theory. This workshop is the final one for the project INTAS-RFBR-97-139, and some talks will summarize the results of the research over the previous three years.

The program will consist of invited talks, contributed talks and discussions.

Proceedings of the workshop are expected to be published by the beginning of the meeting. The papers should not exceed 10 pages in the standart LaTeX format (article, 10 pt).

The deadline for sending registration form is April 15, 2002.

The deadline for submission the electronic versions of the papers for the Proceedings is May 15.

The deadline for confirmation on arrival and for sending the information on date, time, and number of flight is June 17.

The participants are expected to arrive in Almaty on Saturday, June 22, or Sunday, June 23.

Registration will be held in the morning on Monday, June 24.

The working days of the workshop are June 24, 25, 27, 28.

Wednesday, June 26, is expected to be used for excursions to the city and/or for walking in the mountains.

Days of departure from Almaty are June 29 and June 30.
