First announcement

Sobolev Institute of Mathematics SB RAS and Novosibirsk State University invite to participate in the "MAL"TSEV MEETING" and to contribute. The meeting will be held in Novosibirsk (Russia) on November 19-22, 2018.

The programme committe is headed by the Academicians of RAS Yurii L. Ershov and Sergei S. Goncharov.

The programme will consist of invited talks (approx. 45 minutes) and contributions in sections (approx. 10-20 minutes). The topics include (but are not limited to) computability, groups, rings, models, non-classical logics, other related areas as well as applications of algebra and mathematical logic in computer science.

The list of confirmed speakers include Pavel Alaev (Novosibirsk), Serikzhan Badaev (Almaty, Kazakhstan), Bektur Baizhanov (Almaty, Kazakhstan), Nikolai Bazhenov (Novosibirsk), Sergei Vostokov (St. Peterburg), Anton Klyachko (Moscow), Natalia Makarenko (Novoibirsk), Andrei Mamontov (Novosibirsk), Russel Miller (New York), Andrei Morozov (Novosibirsk), Yakov Nuzhin (Krasnoyarsk), Sergei Odintsov (Novosibirsk), Nikolai Peryazev (St. Peterburg), Anand Pillay (Notre Dame, IN), Vladimir Remeslennikov (Omsk), Vladimir Rybakov (Krasnoyarsk), Aleksandr Rybalov (Omsk), Evgenii Vdovin (Novosibirsk).

As usual, talks at the Mal'tsev Meeting are judged as talks at the "Algebra and Logic" seminar. Articles on reported results can be submitted to the journal with the same title.

An electronic collection of abstracts will be published online. The abstracts (at most 1 page) should be prepared in (a considerably new version of) LaTeX following the sample and sent to the organisers. Please, do not forget to indicate the section.

We offer two types of accommodation: the "Golden Valley" hotel and new dorms in the university campus.

The deadline for abstract submission and hotel reservation is November 1, 2018.
